1. Turn the G1 off. If it’s frozen on, take the battery out and put it back in the unit.
2. Hold the Home and Power keys down at same time for about 25 seconds. You will see a yellow triangle screen with exclamation point in the
middle.
Now to wipe the device clean:
3. Press Alt+L.
4. Press Alt+W for a factory reset.
5. Press the Home and Back keys again for about 25 seconds.
The device should then reset again and the hard reset is complete.

Tất cả máy nokia : *#7370# , *#7780# , nó sẽ hỏi mã code , bấm tiếp 12345 ->ok
Hoặc vào Setting -> reset factory -> 12345 -> ok.
Đối với dòng máy Symbian : Tháo pin ra, gắn pin vào , giữ phím * + 3 + gọi ( call ) , rồi mở nguồn , tiếp tục giữ 3 phím đến khi hiện ra 1 bảng cho chọn ngôn ngữ là ok.
Hoặc vào Setting -> reset factory -> 12345 -> ok.
*#7370# , *#7780# , nó sẽ hỏi mã code , bấm tiếp 12345 ->ok

How to Hard Reset LG KS-20
1. Turn off the LG KS-20 completely (do this by pressing and holding the power button and wait for the prompt).
2. Press and hold these three buttons–volume down, Call and power–till the LED (this is beside the front camera) flashes.
3. Release the buttons. That same LED should flash blue/red/green and power up.
4. The KS20 should be in a clean state.

1. Remove the battery and the SIM card from the device.
2. Flip the sidekick open; press and hold the letter ‘r’ on the keypad.
3. While holding the letter ‘r’, place the battery back in the device. DO NOT INSERT THE SIM CARD YET.
4. The sidekick will restart itself twice. Please make sure not to let the letter ‘r’ go until it has fully rebooted.
5. Once it has fully rebooted, remove the battery, re-insert the SIM card and battery and power up the device.
6. Once the device has fully rebooted, all prior information should be erased from the device and it should be restored back to the default factory settings.

Sử dụng Pocket PC hẳn các bạn đã làm quen với các từ như “hardreset” và “Bootloader”. Tuy nhiên để thực hiện thao tác này thì không hẳn tất cả chúng ta đều nắm vững, nhất là hiện nay có rất nhiều dòng Pocket PC khác nhau với nhiều nhà sản xuất, nhiều nhãn hiệu. Bài viết này sẽ tổng hợp lại các thao tác hardreset và vào chế độ Bootloader của các dòng máy Pocket PC Phone phổ biến trên thị trường hiện nay.
– Cách nhận biết máy thuộc dòng nào? Bạn hãy vào máy và thực hiện việc làm sau:
Start > Settings > System > Device Information > Identity > Model No, nếu là:
1/ PW10A hay B: Dòng máy Wallaby
2/ PH10B hay A: Dòng máy Hiamlaya
3/ PH10C: Dòng Alpine
4/ PH20A, B, B1, A1: Dòng máy Blue Angel

– Soft reset là dùng bút chọc vô nút trên thân máy để giải phóng ram bộ nhớ của máy khi máy lỗi.
– Hard Reset là đưa máy về chế độ win mà đã cài đặt mặc định cho máy trong wa trình uprom , mội phần mềm liên wa đến máy cài đặt trước sẽ mất hết.
– Bootloader là đưa về chế độ nguyên thủy của máy đùng để uprom cho máy mình 1 chương trình widowmobile mà mình chọn phù hợp cho máy.

Hardreset: Giữ 2 phím Softkey + Voice dial + Softreset, thả softreset ra trước và giữ nguyên 3 phím kia cho đến khi màn hình hiện lên xác nhận. Bấm phím 0 để xác nhận việc hardreset. (Hoặc Power + Voice dial + Camera + Softreset, thả softreset ra trước và giữ nguyên 3 phím kia cho đến khi màn hình hiện lên xác nhận. Bấm phím 0 để xác nhận việc hardreset)

Hardreset: Voice dial + Camera + Softreset, thả softreset ra trước và giữ nguyên 3 phím kia cho đến khi màn hình hiện lên xác nhận. Bấm phím “Send” để xác nhận việc hardreset. (Phím Send là phím Call)
Bootloader: Voice dial + Camera + Softreset giữ cho đến khi màn hình hiện lên 3 vạch màu.
10. Chamer: T-Mobile Compact II
Hardreset: Camera + Record + Softreset, thả softreset ra trước và giữ nguyên 2 phím kia cho đến khi màn hình hiện lên xác nhận. Bấm phím Call để xác nhận việc hardreset.
Bootloader: Camera + Record + Softreset, giữ cho đến khi màn hình hiện lên 3 vạch màu.
Niki
A hard reset restores the Niki to factory settings. All programs installed and setting changes made after initial setup will be deleted. A hard reset does not affect any storage cards in the device.
To hard reset a Niki device from Windows, click Start, then “Settings”, then the “System” tab and click “Clear Storage”. Type the number sequence “1234” into the confirmation box and tap the “YES” button. The device will reboot and be reset to factory settings.
To perform a hard reset on a device that is not responding to input or not booting to Windows, first remove the back cover of the device. Hold the “call” and “end call” keys on the front of the device and reset the device by sticking the stylus into the small hole to the left side of the USB port. The device will ask for confirmation. To confirm, press the “Enter” key on the keypad. On some devices you need to press the “Action” key instead of “Enter”.
The device will reboot and be reset to factory settings.
